Led by his passion for brands, Walter Serem’s background is a culmination of over twenty-ve years’ experience in the full spectrum of communications across multiple disciplines, industries, economies and sectors across Africa. Walter is currently the co-founder of VSA East Africa where he brings a wealth of experience to the leadership team and its clients. At the helm of VSA East Africa, Walter continuously pushes to deliver the most value to our clients, that ultimately creates a positive impact on our clients’, their business and their brand. He was the founder and partner of Interbrand East Africa a leading multinational branding Agency listed on the London stock exchange and previously at Brand Union, Saatchi & Saatchi, Access Leo Burnett among others. His work has experience spanning into design, brand strategy, communications and marketing for some of the most notable brands across East Africa including CBA, Strathmore Business School, Brand Kenya, Tric Clover, KWFT, National Bank, Gulf Energy, Pilsner Lager, Simba Saloon and East Africa Breweries among others. It is this vast experience, insights and visionary beliefs that have all morphed into Walter’s unique take on what organisations really need and how they should approach brand and marketing in general.
